North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Nominee Reception 2011

Business Excellence Awards

I had the pleasure of being invited to the Business Excellence Awards last week as a Nominee for the Category Young Entrepreneur. I am so excited to share with you all that I have been selected as one of the top 3 finalist for my catorgory.  I congratulate all of the nominees, being nominated is a huge honour.

I have the pleasure of working with a film crew from Capilano College over the next week to film a video and interview that will be shown and the Awards ceremony on November 3rd where they will announce the winners of each catorgory.

Please read the excerpt from the NVCC website about the event.

As the sun was setting, the Business Excellence Awards Nominees Reception was held at Le Bistro Chez Michel on September 28th sponsored by BDC Business Development Bank of Canada. More than 60 nominees, members from the awards judging and steering committees, chamber directors, Capilano University film students, press and guests gathered to recognize and network with the many North Vancouver businesses that are doing exemplary work within our community. Although all of the nominees were congratulated, a highlight of the evening was the announcement of this year’s Business Excellence Award finalists as noted below.

Join the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce at the 14th Annual Business Excellence Awards gala at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier on Thursday, November 3rd. Along with a networking reception and awards dinner, this prestigious evening will feature the viewing of short films created by the Capilano University Motion Picture film students for each of the finalists and ultimately lead up to the announcements of this year’s Business Excellence Award winners. Join Master of Ceremonies, Emmy award winning anchor, Chris Gailus, our Judges, local politicians and press as we take ourHats Off to Excellence.
