Michelle Ricketts, Owner Storm Fitness Inc.
Michelle is a Holistic Nutritionist, has a Diploma in Outdoor Recreation Management, a Diploma in Fitness Leadership, and is certified in Weight Training, Group Fitness, Yoga Fitness, Personal Training, Fitness Kickboxing, Youth Fitness Specialist & Bosu Instructor.
Health and wellness have always played a large part in Michelle’s life. She grew up being a healthy and active kid with a passion for keeping fit, sports and playing outdoors. The Fitness and Recreation industry has been a part of her working life since she was 15 years old. She has had the opportunity to work and travel within this industry to well over 35 countries in the world but her love for this beautiful province, family and friends has always brought her back home to the North Shore.
Amanda Kai, Registered Holistic Nutritionist
Amanda is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist who spends her time on down-to-earth straightforward conversation to educate people on today’s food issues. She is inspired by the wisdom of traditional aboriginal cultures and marries these with modern science, offering fun and thought provoking sessions on our food, our medicine.
Emma Coe, Storm Fitness Coach & Corporate Storm Fitness Coach
Originally from the UK, Emma moved from to Canada in 2009, and decided to pursue a career in health and fitness. She became registered with BCRPA as a professional fitness leader and is First Aid and CPR certified. Her core expertise includes classroom and fitness training and facilitating; she finds the reward of helping her clients become fit through fun, education, and the great outdoors to be her driving motivation in her practice. Emma’s passions include swimming, tennis, squash, softball, hiking, yoga, snowshoeing and alpine skiing
Briar Davis, North Shore Storm Fitness Studio Assistant Manager & Storm Fitness School Programs Coach
Briar is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys a variety of sports and recreational activities. Briar grew up in the trails and mountains of the North Shore. After playing college volleyball for two years, Briar started attending boot camp and was inspired. She enrolled in a college education program for Fitness Leadership. She believes that through having a strong work ethic and a positive attitude anyone can reach their fitness goals. Briar brings lots of energy and motivation to her classes. She is an inspiration and a great role model for young athletes. Briar has been personal training and pushing everyone’s limits at Storm with Urban HIIT, has a Diploma in Fitness Leadership, and is Certified in Weight Training, Personal Training, Fitness Kick Boxing, Youth Fitness Specialist, CPR and First Aid.
Rachelle is a BCRPA certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and a pilates instructor. She has competed in the WBFF fitness model competition 2010. “Be the change you want to see in the world”- Gandhi. Rachelle would like to demonstate to her clients how setting goals and sticking to them, you can achieve anything you desire. She is currently training for Miss Pole Dance Canada 2012. “There is nothing that makes me happier then sharing my knowledge in fitness and helping people reach their fitness goals.” -Rachelle
Kris has been passionate about Health and Wellness ever since she cured herself of uncomfortable food allergies 7 years ago. Along with running the front desk at Storm Fitness, she also owns and runs a successful wellness blog, iheartwellness.com where she features all of her healthy food and treat creations! When she’s not at Storm Fitness or Blogging, she is training to be a Life Coach focusing on Intuition and Living the life you desire through following affirmations and the laws of the universe
She also promotes a 90 Day Health Challenge that allows people to reach their ultimate health goals in a 90 Day time frame.
